The company's Lattice OS is an AI-powered operating system that aggregates thousands of data streams into a real-time 3D command and control center.
You will join the centralized Software Product Design & Research team as a Senior Product Designer focused on the Space organization. Working alongside another designer, you will own the design direction for spacecraft mission planning and command & control experiences. This is a high-impact role where your work directly influences mission-critical operator workflows.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning spacecraft mission planning and command & control experiences from discovery through delivery, partnering with the Space team's existing designer
- Leading discovery and validation through problem decomposition sessions with internal operators and collaborative workshops with stakeholders
- Familiarizing yourself with existing Mission Planning variants across Anduril (Maritime, Aerial Autonomy) to identify reuse opportunities and adapt the design system for space-specific requirements
- Shaping how product design integrates with engineering and product management through close collaboration, iterative prototyping, and implementation guidance
- Contributing to design direction within your domain with guidance from a design lead, developing increasing autonomy in executing feature areas
- Ensuring work is well-documented through strong narrative skills, journey maps, user workflows, high-fidelity mockups, and rigorous documentation
- Participating in team critique to learn Anduril-wide implementations of Lattice and space-domain-specific features
- Partnering with the design systems team to evolve the underlying platform
You will have full access to the broader design community for critique, collaboration, and knowledge sharing while building deep expertise in space operations with immediate real-world impact. Programs are launching as early as 2026, so this work has urgent, tangible consequences.
