Salary: CAD 131,600 - 178,000 / annual
Clio is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its Product Design team, working on the Fintech vertical focused on transforming how law firms manage finances end-to-end. This is a hybrid role available across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US, with offices in Burnaby, Calgary, and Toronto requiring minimum twice-weekly in-office attendance on designated Anchor Days.
In this role, you will lead end-to-end design for financial product workflows, from strategic discovery through launch and iteration. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering to define experience design strategy, translate customer insights into clear direction, and champion high-quality, accessible experiences. Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define design strategy and success metrics using research and customer insights
- Build strong customer intuition through direct engagement and advocate for customer needs in cross-functional decision-making
- Lead end-to-end design for product areas, from vision crafting through prototyping, testing, and polished execution
- Raise quality standards through accessible, cohesive experiences and push beyond adequate toward best-in-class interaction design
- Strengthen design systems and patterns by identifying gaps and influencing consistency across the product
- Drive alignment through clear storytelling and proactive cross-functional collaboration
- Mentor team members through constructive critique and consistent bar-raising execution
You bring 6+ years of digital product design experience, with B2B SaaS preferred. You have demonstrated ability to design scalable experiences across multiple customer segments and proven track record of shipping high-quality work that solves customer problems. Strong craft across interaction design, information architecture, usability, and visual design is essential. You're customer-centric, with experience designing AI-powered features and workflows. Proficiency in Figma and AI tools (Cursor, Claude) is expected. Bonus qualifications include Fintech and financial product design experience.
