You'll join the Truework team as a Senior Product Designer, owning end-to-end design for income verification experiences in mortgage and lending contexts. This is a hands-on role with high ownership: you'll drive discovery through execution, balancing borrower ease, lender clarity, and operational realities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own design across borrower, lender, and internal operational experiences from discovery through launch and iteration
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, shape roadmaps, and deliver solutions aligned with user needs and business outcomes
- Simplify complex workflows (verification requests, document collection, consent, status visibility, exception handling) into clear, user-friendly experiences
- Use AI-assisted design and development tools to rapidly prototype, validate, and implement lightweight UI changes
- Design for trust and clarity in financial domains, prioritizing transparency, error prevention, accessibility, and confidence-building patterns
- Combine qualitative research, stakeholder input, and product data to propose, test, and refine solutions
- Create interaction and visual design across responsive web and platform surfaces with clear specs for engineering
- Facilitate alignment through workshops, design reviews, and storytelling
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Compliance, Data, and Operations
- Contribute to design systems and standards
You bring 5–8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking, problem framing, exploration, collaboration, iteration, and measurable impact. You're comfortable in complex domains where edge cases matter and can distill complexity into simple, usable flows. You have strong product instincts balancing user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and timelines. You excel in collaborative, cross-functional environments, influencing through clarity. You can independently plan lightweight research and partner with researchers. You sweat details: interaction patterns, content clarity, information hierarchy, and accessibility. You have an A-player mindset with bias for action, raising the bar, moving with urgency, staying resilient through ambiguity, and taking ownership.
Nice-to-have experience includes fintech, lending, mortgage, identity, compliance-heavy or high-trust regulated spaces; B2B/B2B2C product design; design systems and scalable component thinking; and designing for secure data, consent, and privacy-forward experiences.
