Homeward is a remote-first real estate fintech startup founded in 2018 that simplifies home buying and selling through innovative financial products. The company offers bundled cash offers, mortgage, and title services across 13 states, partnering with real estate agents to provide buyers and sellers with certainty and convenience.
As Senior Product Designer, you'll be a key member of a small, high-impact design team responsible for shaping Homeward's digital product experience. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to design intuitive, thoughtful experiences across internal and customer-facing applications.
Key responsibilities include: conducting user research interviews and creating wireframes and mockups; managing feature rollouts end-to-end from design through testing and launch; rebuilding and maintaining the design system (fonts, colors, components) to ensure consistency; coordinating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Finance) on launches; and analyzing competitive offerings to differentiate Homeward's experience.
You'll need 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in high-performance startups or tech companies, with a strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web app design. Proficiency with Figma and modern design tools is essential. You should have hands-on experience conducting user interviews, UX testing, and research analysis, with strong qualitative and quantitative skills. The ideal candidate ships quickly, values outcomes over perfection, works well independently while seeking feedback, and is genuinely interested in improving the home buying/selling experience. Nice-to-haves include experience with Salesforce, regulated industries (real estate, fintech, lending), design systems, and distributed teams.
The role is fully remote for Latin America-based candidates only. No visa sponsorship available. Compensation is competitive hourly with computer reimbursement.
