Salary: CAD 128,400 - 173,600 / annual
Clio is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of insights, reporting, and analytics features for their legal practice management platform. This role sits within the Clio Manage team, which focuses on making legal practice management more data-driven and AI-orchestrated.
You will define and execute the experience strategy for real-time insights, complex reporting, and analytics tools that help law firms understand business performance across firm growth, case management, finance, and operations. This is a strategic design role that bridges data visualization, content design, and complex data architecture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define experience design strategy and success metrics
- Design end-to-end experiences across firm growth, case management, and financial reporting workflows
- Translate complex data relationships and legal domain logic into clear, scalable UI patterns
- Lead the full design process from discovery and framing through development, launch, and iteration
- Shape feature decisions through research and prototyping
- Build customer intuition through direct engagement and advocate for customer needs
- Drive alignment through storytelling and cross-functional collaboration
- Raise quality standards through polished, accessible, and cohesive experiences
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years designing digital products (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Strong portfolio showcasing data-heavy products like dashboards and analytics tools
- Ability to simplify complex domain logic into intuitive interfaces
- Experience partnering with data and platform teams
- Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
- Customer-centric approach with strategic thinking
- Proficiency in design tools (Figma) and AI tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Collaborative, low-ego partner mentality
