Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company building the platform for the next era of software where products are built, extended, and operated by AI agents. As Senior Product Designer for Growth, you'll define and own the complete self-serve journey—signup, onboarding, first project deployment, adoption, conversion, expansion, and retention—across both human users and AI agents.
You'll report to Product Design and collaborate closely with Growth Product, Engineering, and Data teams. The role offers significant autonomy: you'll move from identifying problems through prototyping, shipping, and measuring results. You'll have unlimited access to leading LLMs and Vercel's in-house tools for product data exploration.
Key responsibilities include owning the self-serve experience across the entire funnel, identifying high-impact opportunities through customer research and product data, co-owning growth strategy and success metrics with cross-functional partners, building and testing prototypes using Figma, v0, Cursor, and Claude Code, designing and shipping experiments while staying involved through implementation, and turning validated learnings into durable product improvements and reusable patterns.
This is not a role with a mature playbook or stable briefs. Priorities evolve as evidence arrives, and some experiments won't ship. You should thrive in ambiguity, enjoy finding the right problem, and stay accountable after launch. The role requires strong product design fundamentals with measurable outcomes, ability to own complex work from problem framing through iteration, comfort forming hypotheses and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data, and the ability to build interactive prototypes independently using modern AI tools.
Bonus experience includes shipping AI or agent experiences, engineering background or production web code contributions, or prior work on developer tools and infrastructure products. Familiarity with Vercel is a plus.
The role includes in-office anchor days (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) if you're within commuting distance of SF, NY, London, or Berlin offices; otherwise fully remote.
