Robinhood is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design strategy and execution for its retail crypto trading platform and onchain experiences. The role sits at the intersection of centralized and decentralized finance, balancing ambitious 0-to-1 product bets with iterative improvements to core surfaces.
You will own the end-to-end design strategy for retail crypto experiences, collaborating closely with engineering, product, design leadership, legal, and compliance partners from concept through launch. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and executing product design strategy for retail crypto experiences, balancing new bets with iterative improvements
- Collaborating directly with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design leadership, legal, compliance) from initial concept to final launch
- Translating complex crypto concepts into highly usable and intuitive experiences for both first-time users and crypto natives
- Leveraging AI as a core tool to explore problem spaces, surface edge cases, and prototype quickly while maintaining design intent, structure, and quality
- Setting and upholding the craft bar for design quality across the crypto team
Design at Robinhood is AI-first, and this role requires someone who already uses AI as a core part of their thinking, exploration, and execution.
The role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY offices with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. Robinhood emphasizes the value of in-person work for accelerating progress, sparking innovation, and strengthening community.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong product design experience working on complex, consumer-facing products with end-to-end ownership
- Active use of AI in your design workflow
- Solid systems thinking, balancing detail with the big picture
- Experience partnering with engineering, product, research, legal, and compliance in a highly regulated environment
- Strong bias for action: able to find the next step and move forward through ambiguity
- Crypto curiosity—deep expertise not required, but fluency and eagerness to learn is required
