Tilt is a fintech company that uses machine learning and real-time financial signals to provide credit and financial products to underserved customers globally. As a Senior Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design for a meaningful portion of Tilt's product ecosystem, including cash management, financial wellness, and transaction-related tools. This is an individual contributor role combining strong product thinking, UX fundamentals, and exceptional visual and UI craft. Key responsibilities include: - Leading design from early exploration through launch and iteration for complex financial products - Translating complex financial concepts into clear, approachable customer experiences - Setting high standards for interaction design, visual design, and overall product quality - Partnering closely with product managers and engineers to define problems and make thoughtful tradeoffs - Advocating for customers and design quality in cross-functional conversations - Using research, data, and business context to guide design decisions - Contributing to UI patterns, design systems, and team culture through critique and mentorship - Thoughtfully applying AI-enabled design tools while maintaining human judgment and customer focus You should have significant experience designing and shipping complex digital products, ideally in fintech, financial services, commerce, or multi-stakeholder environments. A strong portfolio demonstrating UX thinking alongside polished visual execution is essential. You'll need experience owning ambiguous product spaces, strong interaction-design fundamentals, and exceptional attention to detail. The role requires confidence in advocating for design while remaining collaborative and pragmatic, plus strong communication and storytelling skills. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with consumer financial products (cash management, banking, budgeting, payments), design system evolution, and working in organizations undergoing product strategy changes.
