Tide is a fintech platform transforming small business banking and financial management. With over 2 million members globally across the UK, India, Germany, and France, Tide offers business accounts, invoicing, accounting, bookkeeping, taxes, payroll, and filing solutions designed specifically for SMEs.
You'll join the Admin Services team, which owns Tide's financial management products and is entering a major growth phase with significant investment in product development, product-led growth, and international expansion. This is a rare opportunity to shape products that are becoming increasingly central to how small businesses globally run and manage their finances.
In this role, you'll be embedded in a cross-functional squad, partnering throughout the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration. You'll use your full range of product design skills to discover, research, design, and deliver engaging, well-crafted experiences across mobile and web. You'll evolve design concepts from early-stage prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups, deeply understanding the members you're designing for through user research, previous insights, and usage analytics.
You'll play a supporting role in Tide's evolving design process—helping estimate design effort, tracking to OKRs, and measuring how experience impacts members. You'll collaborate with colleagues in the Design practice to understand core member needs and find innovative ways to meet them. You'll use and contribute to the Tide Design System to ensure consistent, world-class experiences.
Required: 4+ years designing digital products for web and mobile in a product design or UX role. You'll need a strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, UX, interaction, and visual design skills with clear process and measurable impact. You should be able to identify when research is needed and have experience running moderated user sessions. You'll design complex products and collaborate effectively with cross-functional peers. You're a storyteller who can articulate the 'why' behind your work, impact-driven, pragmatic about trade-offs, and understand the end-to-end design process from ideation to launch. Proficiency in Figma and understanding of design systems and accessibility are essential.
