Strella is an AI-powered platform transforming qualitative research through real-time, AI-moderated interviews and automated synthesis. The company works with leading product, marketing, and consumer insights teams at high-growth organizations.
As Senior Product Designer, you'll be a high-impact individual contributor working alongside another Senior Product Designer, the CEO, engineers, and go-to-market teams. You'll own important features end-to-end, from problem definition through launch and iteration.
Key responsibilities include:
• Own features completely—lead from early problem definition and requirements gathering through design, implementation, launch, and iteration. Take responsibility for quality and outcomes, not just design deliverables.
• Design polished, high-quality experiences for a design-conscious audience (product teams, designers, researchers). Create intuitive, elegant workflows; research existing solutions and best-in-class patterns; move fluidly between systems-level thinking and detail work; evolve the design system as the product grows.
• Build thoughtful AI and agentic products. Design features that help users accomplish complex work while preserving clarity, control, and trust. Apply practical understanding of AI's production limitations—uncertainty, latency, failure modes, user expectations, guardrails, and feedback loops. Collaborate with engineering to understand constraints and make informed tradeoffs. Prototype and test new AI interaction patterns, refining with customer feedback.
• Collaborate across the company. Partner closely with engineers throughout the process (not just at handoff) to understand constraints and maintain quality. Work with Customer Success and Sales to understand requirements and validate solutions. Collaborate with the other Senior Designer to critique work and raise quality standards. Communicate decision rationale clearly.
• Prototype and ship. Work fluently in Figma and code-based prototyping tools. Use prototypes to explore interactions, test assumptions, and reduce uncertainty. Contribute directly to production code when appropriate, particularly on frontend-focused work. Close the gap between design intent and shipped experience.
You bring 4–6+ years of product design experience, ideally in fast-moving B2B SaaS, productivity, research, or collaboration products. Your portfolio demonstrates strong product thinking, polished interaction and visual design, and ownership of meaningful features from discovery through launch. You're fluent in Figma and can build interactive, code-based prototypes. You have strong product and competitive research skills, with examples of using existing solutions and adjacent patterns to inform original work. You've designed AI-powered or agentic features that shipped to real users and understand AI limitations in production. You partner effectively with engineers, navigate technical constraints, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
