As Senior Product Designer, you will lead product design across Radar's location platform, serving as the sole senior designer reporting to the VP of Design, Brand and Product. You'll own the design of the dashboard and product experiences that developers and technical teams depend on, spanning geofencing, maps, fraud prevention, and location intelligence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design for Radar's dashboard and platform experiences across all location products
- Partnering with the CEO, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering teams to translate customer needs and complex technical requirements into intuitive, simple experiences
- Owning the complete design process from early concepts and user flows through polished UI, prototypes, and production-ready designs
- Leveraging Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools to prototype rapidly and push production-ready code
- Developing and evolving Radar's product design system, processes, and best practices as the company scales
- Gathering direct customer feedback and collaborating with go-to-market teams to inform product decisions
- Advocating for design excellence across the organization and identifying opportunities to simplify products
You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where designers are strategic thinkers and hands-on craftspeople. The team communicates through whiteboarding, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and increasingly through code. Work happens Monday–Thursday in the Flatiron NYC headquarters, with Friday flexibility for remote work.
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of product design experience at product-driven technology companies
- Strong UI, UX, and visual design craft with excellent product instincts and attention to detail
- High proficiency in Figma and experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI prototyping tools
- Ability to translate complex technical, customer, and business needs into simple, thoughtful experiences
- Comfort owning the design process end-to-end from concepts through production
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Experience designing developer-focused or technical products is a strong plus
- Portfolio required showcasing multiple shipped digital products, including complex dashboards, with strong UI/UX and visual design sensibility
