Nabla is an AI assistant for clinical documentation that helps clinicians focus on patient care by automating administrative workflows. Over 100,000 clinicians across 130+ healthcare organizations use Nabla daily. The company recently raised $70M in Series C funding and is expanding its product capabilities across ambient listening, dictation, coding, and proactive clinical workflows.
As Senior Product Designer, you will own the end-to-end experience clinicians have with Nabla, from onboarding through hundreds of daily encounters. The role spans discovery, design, and implementation across web and mobile platforms. You'll work with two distinct audiences: self-serve clinicians who adopt Nabla independently, and mid-market/enterprise health systems deploying through IT and clinical informatics teams with EHR integrations and admin controls.
Key responsibilities include conducting user research through on-sites and clinical shadowing to validate opportunities; leading end-to-end design from ideation to execution in a rapid-iteration environment; designing patterns that make AI-generated content usable and trustworthy; maintaining and evolving Nabla's design system; and collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, clinical, compliance, and go-to-market teams.
You'll design for a highly regulated industry where every interaction must meet high bars for accuracy, safety, and privacy while remaining fast and intuitive for clinicians working in front of patients. The role is hands-on and high-output, requiring weekly shipping, direct user engagement, and translating complex clinical workflows into obvious interfaces. You'll use modern tools including Figma, Cursor, Claude Code, and Paper as core parts of daily work.
Required: 7+ years designing product experiences at tech or product-driven companies; strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric solutions for complex business logic; experience designing for both web and mobile with deep understanding of responsive behavior and platform constraints.
