Fin is an AI Customer Agent company transforming how businesses deliver customer support. Founded in 2011, Fin is one of the largest private software companies globally, with nearly 30,000 businesses using its products. The company is hiring a Senior Product Designer to drive craft excellence and push the boundaries of AI-first product design.
This is a craft-heavy, individual contributor role—not a strategy-only or people-management position. You'll own end-to-end design for high-impact product areas, from concept through execution. Responsibilities include defining new interaction patterns and design paradigms for Fin's AI Agent and automation tools, sketching and prototyping ideas at various fidelity levels, collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation, and raising the quality bar across strategic product initiatives.
You'll work on complex, multi-surface experiences spanning desktop, mobile, chat interfaces, and emerging AI-first interactions. The role demands deep product thinking, systems-level design, and the ability to balance speed with obsessive attention to detail. You should thrive with autonomy, operate with ownership, and communicate design decisions with clarity and conviction.
Fin is design-driven with 60+ designers across R&D and Brand, and two co-founders from design backgrounds. Design leadership is embedded in the company culture, and designers shape products from the start. You'll work on products used by millions, contributing to the future of AI-powered customer service.
Must-have experience: shipped complex, high-quality software products; designed for multiple surfaces; balance speed and detail; think end-to-end from systems to interaction details; understand engineering and can prototype (Framer, Figma, code, etc.); have strong design taste; tell compelling stories about your work; operate with agency and autonomy.
This role is not for those who prefer strategy/research over execution, need heavy direction, don't obsess over details, or primarily work on marketing sites. It's for makers and doers who want to push the boundaries of product craft in an AI-first context.
