Insurify, a fast-growing MIT-backed fintech startup recognized on the Inc. 5,000 list and Forbes Fintech 50, is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the future of insurance comparison and management. You'll join a multidisciplinary design team spanning Product and Marketing, crafting intuitive experiences that make comparing, buying, and managing insurance effortless for millions of users.
In this role, you'll champion user-centered design across the organization, leading end-to-end design processes from research and strategy through prototyping and testing for complex, high-impact product experiences. You'll define user needs through Jobs to Be Done, user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes. Your responsibilities include conducting in-depth user research (interviews, usability testing, analytics) to surface insights and solve real customer pain points, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, marketers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are both inspired and feasible.
You'll communicate design rationale clearly and persuasively across all organizational levels, facilitate alignment, inspire teams, and drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces. You'll stay current on UX trends and apply innovative thinking to solve complex challenges.
Required qualifications: 5+ years of product design experience (UI/UX, interaction, or visual) with 2–3 years on consumer-facing products; proven ability to lead high-impact initiatives from concept to execution; strong motion and interaction design skills; portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of consumer experiences, strategic thinking in complex systems (marketplace experience a plus), and experience designing for monetization or advertising; strong communication and storytelling skills; ability to work independently while seeking feedback; meticulous attention to detail with design system experience; familiarity with user research and data-driven design; professional proficiency in English and Bulgarian.
