Checkout.com is a global fintech platform powering over 10 billion transactions yearly for merchants like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony. The company operates 20 offices across six continents with London as headquarters.
You'll join the Design organisation (30+ specialists) as a Senior Product Designer on the Acquiring team, which powers how merchants accept payments and manage payment performance through the Dashboard. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role focused on complex B2B software design.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end design for complex Dashboard experiences in Acquiring, from early concepts through shipped product, partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams.
- Design scalable wrappers, patterns, and platform foundations that enable other product teams to integrate coherent experiences into the central Dashboard.
- Lead design for payment analytics, charting, and core payment pages, translating complex payment data into clear, actionable interfaces.
- Shape platform-wide AI-assisted and conversational experiences while contributing to mobile-first product evolution.
Success means shipping Acquiring Dashboard experiences (payment pages, analytics) with clear flows and strong interaction/visual craft; creating reusable patterns that help teams deliver coherent experiences; and establishing the next generation of Acquiring experiences across desktop, mobile, and AI-enabled surfaces.
You bring:
- Portfolio demonstrating shipped, complex desktop web experiences in B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, or regulated environments.
- Strong interaction and visual design craft across information architecture, user flows, polished interfaces, and prototypes.
- Track record of owning complex features end-to-end with clear decision-making and accountability.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering in iterative development.
- Active curiosity about AI with evidence of using AI tools in daily design workflow.
- Confidence working with established design systems and extending them to solve new problems.
Nice-to-have: experience with data-dense dashboards, charts, analytics, mobile interfaces, or merchant-facing payment products in regulated environments.
The company offers hybrid working (3 days/week in office) and emphasizes real ownership, fewer blockers, and meaningful work from day one.
