Bonusly is a recognition and rewards platform that helps organizations build culture through peer recognition and AI-powered insights. The company is expanding its Insights business unit, which transforms recognition data into strategic intelligence for leaders to understand team health, engagement, and culture in real time.
You'll join a small, high-impact design team working on AI-powered culture intelligence products from the ground up. The Insights business unit is building generative UIs, conversational analysis tools, and culture visualizations that surface patterns traditional surveys cannot capture. Design conventions for this space don't yet exist—you'll help invent them.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design AI-powered culture intelligence products end-to-end: collaboration maps, engagement spotlights, organizational health dashboards. These products must earn user trust through thoughtful, clear design.
• Shape product strategy alongside product and engineering leaders. You'll be involved from ideation through implementation, not waiting for specifications.
• Lead the full design process: user research, information architecture, interaction flows, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and close collaboration with engineers during development.
• Bring a strong visual point of view. Push the craft through motion, illustration, layout, typography, and thoughtful detail work.
• Ship quickly in ambiguous environments. You'll sometimes lead with a concept; other times you'll refine an engineer's initial approach. Designers at Bonusly are true partners from the first commit.
• Experiment with how Bizy (Bonusly's AI companion) appears across the product experience, from conversational interfaces to proactive insights that feel helpful rather than intrusive.
The role emphasizes creative energy and a consumer sensibility applied to B2B software. You'll work with a product leader, engineering leader, and another designer leading the Insights business unit, while collaborating across the broader design and engineering teams. The company values taste and judgment—knowing where AI tools help and where human decision-making matters most.
