Bitwarden is seeking a Senior Product Designer to elevate the user experience for its trusted identity security platform used by millions worldwide. The role focuses on designing intuitive, delightful security products across multiple platforms including desktop, mobile (iOS & Android), web, and browser extensions.
Key responsibilities include analyzing product feedback and market trends to generate and iterate on design concepts; creating user flows, prototypes, and production-ready designs for developer execution; designing seamless, user-centric solutions across the Bitwarden platform; conducting and moderating user research sessions, surveys, and feedback engagements; collaborating with Product Managers and stakeholders through critique sessions; and partnering across teams to identify continuous UX improvement opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of product design experience with strong expertise in Figma and modern design tools. Required skills include proficiency in creating sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes; comprehensive user research and testing execution; technical design knowledge of front-end engineering practices and design systems; and the ability to influence leadership using data and user feedback. Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, V0) and prompt writing is expected. The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability, with demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Nice-to-have qualifications include startup experience, security-focused design background, B2C and B2B product design experience, mobile app design expertise, WCAG accessibility knowledge, front-end development skills, and cross-platform design experience. Candidates must present a well-curated portfolio demonstrating UI design and critical thinking abilities.
