Artemis Security is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the end-to-end design of their cybersecurity platform. The role focuses on creating intuitive, well-designed interfaces for security teams—CISOs, architects, and SOC analysts—who currently rely on dense, engineer-built tools. You'll own the complete design lifecycle from research and discovery through pixel-perfect execution, partnering directly with founders, product managers, and engineering leadership.
Key responsibilities include designing core experiences across detection, investigation, response, and platform administration workflows. You'll translate complex security workflows into clear, navigable interfaces that prioritize visual hierarchy and connective thinking—enabling teams to move fluidly from signal detection to investigation to response without losing context. You'll build and evolve the design system to support product velocity as the company scales, conduct user research with security practitioners through customer calls and usability testing, and contribute strategic input on what to build alongside how to build it.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of product design experience at enterprise SaaS companies, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking (research, tradeoffs, shipped work), not just visual polish. You should have experience designing for technical expert users—developers, security teams, data teams, IT admins—where dense information and complex workflows are standard. Strong systems thinking and design system experience are essential, along with Figma fluency and comfort in engineering-adjacent workflows (linked components, dev handoff, prototyping). Excellent communication skills are critical for explaining design decisions to product, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience in cybersecurity, observability, or developer tools; collaboration on AI/ML product surfaces and agentic workflows; direct user research with technical buyers; motion and prototyping skills; and comfort using AI tools like Claude for prototyping and code contributions.
