Babylist is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own the user experience across the AI Registry product and broader Babylist ecosystem. You will be the primary owner for experience, delight, and interaction quality, working alongside product managers, engineers, and data partners to shape how parents discover products, receive gifts, and navigate early parenthood across web and native mobile. In this role, you'll drive the experience layer end-to-end, ensuring every interaction meets both functional and emotional needs. You'll run research, build working prototypes rapidly (hours not days), and contribute production-quality front-end code. You'll help Babylist transition into AI-native product development by modeling what an AI-native designer does daily. You are craft-obsessed, caring deeply about how things feel—transitions, motion, and details that create emotional resonance. You're a systems thinker who sees how individual interactions fit into broader flows and design systems. You're human-and-data-centered, running both generative and evaluative research, bringing qualitative and quantitative evidence into decisions. You're product-savvy, knowing what's worth building and what UX will resonate with users while supporting business goals. You move from rough concepts to interactive prototypes in hours, write production frontend code yourself, and have a portfolio demonstrating this capability. You instrument your work, track metrics, and make iterate/pivot/stop decisions based on evidence. You're adaptable and low-ego, jumping across team boundaries without waiting for permission. You naturally reach for AI in your work—at Babylist, every team uses AI daily, and you're already leveraging it to move faster and improve output. You'll define excellence by setting the bar for quality and delight, demonstrating what great looks and feels like. You'll stay deeply connected to users, talking to customers and executing research to ground design decisions in how families actually behave. You'll create fast feedback loops, putting prototypes in front of users early and actively soliciting critique.
