MaintainX, now part of Autodesk Operations Solutions, is a mobile-first work execution platform serving 13,000+ customers including Duracell, McDonald's, Shell, DHL, and Volvo. The platform manages 13.9 million assets and 79.5 million completed work orders, helping industrial and frontline teams cut unplanned downtime and optimize operations. You will own end-to-end design for AI-powered product surfaces across web and mobile, from problem framing through high-fidelity delivery. Your focus will be designing AI-powered experiences for frontline users—maintenance technicians, facility managers, and operations teams—making complex workflows simpler and smarter without adding cognitive load. Key responsibilities include translating ambiguous, fast-moving AI problem spaces into clear, testable design solutions in close partnership with product and engineering teams. You'll think in systems: spotting patterns, building for reuse, and contributing to the design system with emphasis on consistency, scalability, and craft. You'll present design work with clear rationale, integrate stakeholder feedback, and champion high quality across the product lifecycle. You're also expected to use AI tools in your own design process to accelerate work and push quality standards. You bring 6+ years of product design experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise platforms, with hands-on experience designing AI-powered features such as natural language interfaces, agents, and predictive insights for real users solving real problems. You have exceptional visual and interaction design skills—sharp eye for typography, spacing, color, layout, and motion. You're a systems thinker who naturally spots patterns and considers how design decisions scale. Strong communication and storytelling skills are essential to articulate design intent, navigate ambiguous product spaces, and influence cross-functional peers including executive stakeholders. Expert-level English (spoken and written) is required.
