Salary: USD 89,000 - 118,000 / annual

Datadog is seeking a Senior Analyst, Procurement Operations to manage vendor onboarding and improve the systems and workflows that support the purchasing lifecycle. In this role, you will guide vendors and internal stakeholders through onboarding requirements, coordinate reviews and approvals across Privacy, GRC, IT, Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, and other teams, maintain accurate vendor data, and resolve issues that delay requests. You will serve as a subject matter expert for Zip and related procurement systems, translating policies and business needs into clear requirements for workflows, routing, approvals, notifications, reporting, and exceptions. Key responsibilities include: - Managing vendor onboarding requests from submission through completion - Reviewing submissions for completeness, accuracy, and required documentation - Coordinating reviews, approvals, and follow-ups with cross-functional teams - Helping vendors and employees understand requirements and resolve system issues - Maintaining accurate vendor records, approvals, contracts, documents, and audit trails across Zip and connected systems - Monitoring request volumes, aging, and cycle times; prioritizing urgent requests and escalating blockers - Testing system changes, documenting results, reporting defects, and supporting releases - Identifying opportunities to improve procure-to-pay processes through data, AI, and automation This role is ideal for someone with strong operational judgment, a systems mindset, and the ability to manage a high volume of requests in an evolving environment. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of experience in procure-to-pay, vendor management, finance, or purchasing operations - Experience managing vendor onboarding or vendor lifecycle processes - Hands-on experience with platforms such as Zip, Coupa, Oracle, NetSuite, DocuSign, Brex, Ramp, or similar tools - Understanding of how vendor data, purchasing requests, contracts, purchase orders, invoices, approvals, and payments connect - Experience maintaining accurate system data and resolving incomplete, inconsistent, or duplicate records - Ability to document business requirements, test system changes, and work with technical teams to resolve issues - Sound judgment when applying policies, managing exceptions, and escalating risks - An analytical mindset and interest in using data, AI, and automation to improve processes - Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred
