Voyager Space is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead strategic and competitive pricing efforts and develop cost/price proposals across all lines of business. This role is critical to supporting government and prime customer proposals in the defense and space technology sector.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead pricing efforts for RFPs, RFQs, white papers, and ROMs with expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance for government contracting
• Develop, review, and analyze functional cost estimates including labor, subcontracts, ODC, and materials
• Perform cost estimating and pricing analysis in accordance with RFP specifications and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with Contracts, Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teams to collect and accumulate cost, scheduling, and performance data
• Research and analyze historical data to develop cost models supporting proposal efforts
• Thoroughly understand cost burdening and fee application to accurately build proposal costs
• Build and maintain custom Excel-based pricing models tailored to individual RFP requirements
• Prepare and validate cost estimates for sustainment, engineering, manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts, and vendor data
• Identify cost and price risks and apply appropriate adjustments to estimates
• Present cost estimates and pricing analysis to management, customer representatives, and government audit agencies
• Support internal proposal reviews and customer audit/fact-finding activities
• Review all estimates prior to delivery and senior management review
• Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external clients
• Ensure all proposals are top-quality, compliant, and delivered on time
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in government contracting, FAR/DFARS regulations, proposal pricing, and cost estimation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally are essential.
