Mirantis is seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect to help enterprise customers across French-speaking Europe design and deploy next-generation AI infrastructure. The company has built cloud-native infrastructure platforms (Container and OpenStack) used by mission-critical workloads in regulated organizations worldwide. Now, as agentic AI and inferencing workloads grow, Mirantis is building the next infrastructure chapter to meet these challenges.
In this role, you will own the technical relationship with enterprise customers—CTOs, platform teams, and infrastructure leaders—across banking, insurance, telecom, government, and pharma. You are not a support resource; you architect solutions, lead proof-of-concepts, and build deep technical trust that drives deals in regulated environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the technical relationship and earning trust from platform and security teams through credibility, not just demos
- Architecting real solutions that translate customer constraints (regulatory, operational, organizational) into deployable infrastructure across Container, OpenStack, and Enterprise AI offerings
- Leading and running proofs-of-concept that demonstrate fit under real conditions: deploying platforms, prototyping AI workloads, debugging live, and showing operational reality
- Translating infrastructure complexity into narratives that resonate with both CIOs and platform engineers
- Carrying technical continuity from discovery through PoC through account expansion, especially in regulated environments where trust is earned slowly
- Winning net-new business in greenfield opportunities across regulated verticals
- Feeding field insights back into product and GTM as Enterprise AI infrastructure evolves
You will work closely with European enterprise customers, platform engineering teams, and AI practitioners to architect solutions enabling scalable AI workloads, modern developer platforms, and Kubernetes-based infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Requirements:
- 12 years combined experience across infrastructure engineering and solutions architecture/sales engineering
- 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting in France or other French-speaking countries in Europe
- Hands-on experience designing or operating Kubernetes and/or OpenStack-based systems in production
- Proven track record supporting enterprise sales cycles for infrastructure or cloud platforms
- Experience managing accounts in regulated industries (banking/FSI, telecom, government, pharma/manufacturing) strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure: Kubernetes, containers, OpenStack, platform engineering
- Understanding of AI infrastructure: GPU orchestration, inferencing, model serving
- Platform-thinking mindset covering compute, networking, storage, inference, and governance
- Ability to deploy, stand up clusters, run live demos, build PoCs, and debug them yourself
- Proven ability to manage accounts in regulated, high-scrutiny environments
- Natural technical evangelist with conference talks, open-source contributions, technical writing, or demo-building experience
