Salary: USD 160,000 - 210,000 / annual
SecurityScorecard, the global leader in cybersecurity ratings with over 12 million companies continuously rated across 64 countries, is seeking a Senior People Strategy Partner (PSP) to serve as a strategic, embedded partner to business units. This is not a traditional compliance-focused HR role but rather a seat at the table for someone who can move fluidly between people data, business strategy, and the day-to-day realities of the teams they support.
The role emphasizes a shift from tactical to strategic approaches: working predictively rather than just proactively, using data to anticipate issues before they surface, and assessing risk with an HR-first, business-second mindset. You will treat AI as a core tool, using it to work faster and smarter in your own workflow, and partnering with business leaders to rethink how work gets done on their teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a trusted, forward-facing consultant to business leaders on people strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning
- Identifying and leading key strategic initiatives for client groups rather than just responding to requests
- Using people data and historical trends to anticipate issues and bring data-driven recommendations to problems like turnover, engagement, performance, and organizational health
- Continuously improving the employee experience based on data insights
- Using AI tools to move faster on administration so more time goes toward judgment and relationships
- Coaching and mentoring leaders and employees at every level, from executives to new hires
- Navigating difficult, high-stakes conversations with confidence, care, and discretion
- Holding independent, business-first judgment while balancing broader organizational needs
SecurityScorecard is headquartered in NYC with over 200 employees globally, has raised over $110M USD, and is used by 1,000+ enterprise customers. The company has been recognized by Inc Magazine as a "Best Workplace," by Crain's NY as a "Best Places to Work in NYC," and as one of the 10 hottest SaaS startups in New York for two years in a row. Most recently, it was named to Fast Company's World's Most Innovative Companies for 2023 and the Achievers 50 Most Engaged Workplaces in 2023.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of progressive HR or people strategy experience, ideally in a business-partner or generalist capacity
- Track record of using data to influence business decisions, not just report on them
- Strong business acumen and comfort operating as a consultant to leadership, not just an HR administrator
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to translate data and HR concepts into business language
- Demonstrated coaching experience across levels, from individual contributors to executives
- Sound judgment under ambiguity and confidence to hold an independent perspective even in difficult conversations
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools and track record of using them to redesign how work gets done, both in your own role and with teams you support
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Forward-facing mindset, aligning business objectives with employees and management
- Strategic advisor capability with ability to build intimate understanding of business problems
- Data-driven problem-solving approach with ability to read historical trends
- Influential storytelling and relationship management skills
- Trusted coaching and mentoring experience across the organization
- Independent voice that balances business unit needs with broader organizational needs
