Salary: USD 173,000 - 249,000 / annual

Zoox, an autonomous vehicle company owned by Amazon, is seeking a Senior People Partner to lead the HR Generalists team and serve as the internal HR business partner for the People Experience (HR) function itself. This is a people management role reporting to the Director of People Partners. You will manage a team of HR Generalists while partnering closely with People Partners, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and cross-functional leadership. Key responsibilities include: • Lead and develop the HR Generalists team, providing coaching and strategic direction • Act as HR for HR—supporting the People Experience team's internal needs, processes, and scaling • Support talent integration, retention, and development strategies across the organization • Partner on performance management initiatives including calibrations, promotions, and performance improvement processes • Contribute to organizational design and health assessments, identifying risks and mitigation strategies • Analyze compensation trends and structures; provide input on pay equity and program implications • Support diversity, inclusion, and learning & development needs assessment • Manage employee relations issues effectively and escalate appropriately • Lead cross-functional projects with clear deadlines and stakeholder coordination • Use data and talent trends to influence senior leaders and inform strategic decisions You bring 10+ years as a People/HR Business Partner, 5+ years managing HR teams (ideally HR Generalists), and a track record of building scalable talent programs in high-growth, fast-paced environments. You have demonstrated success executing inclusive talent strategies, managing organizational change, and working effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. You understand compensation philosophy, equity structures, and employee risk assessment. You excel at project management, stakeholder engagement, and translating people data into business impact.
