Multiverse is Europe's first EdTech double unicorn, recently raising $70M at a $2.1B valuation. The company partners with 1,500+ organizations to deliver AI and tech upskilling apprenticeships, with learners driving $2B+ ROI for employers.
This Senior People Partner role is embedded within the GTM organization (Sales, Customer Impact, B2B Marketing, Revenue Operations, Enablement)—the largest, fastest-moving, and most commercially exposed part of the company. You will report to the CRO and work directly with his leadership team, operating as both strategic advisor and hands-on operator.
Key Responsibilities:
COMMERCIAL PARTNERING
- Partner the CRO and Sales SVP on performance, productivity, and team effectiveness
- Translate commercial targets (pipeline, attainment, retention, revenue per head) into people plans that move those numbers
- Coach managers on performance and decision-making; challenge senior leaders when needed
ORG DESIGN, WORKFORCE PLANNING & REWARD
- Shape GTM org design, role clarity, levelling, and spans for efficiency
- Partner with Revenue Operations, Reward, and Finance on compensation structures, quota, and incentive design
- Apply rigour to headcount decisions, justifying every role against commercial return
PERFORMANCE & TALENT
- Own performance cycles, calibrations, and promotion decisions across GTM
- Move decisively on performance management; build manager capability
- Build succession depth to mitigate key-person risk
OPERATING AT PACE
- Run complex ER and restructure work with sound judgment and clean execution
- Apply policy pragmatically in a fast-moving, commercially pressured environment
- Leverage AI to reduce operational load, freeing time for high-impact work
Multiverse emphasizes that People Partnering is a driver of commercial performance, not a support function. You'll be measured on whether the business performs better because you're in the room.
REQUIREMENTS (Essential)
- Proven experience partnering a quota-carrying sales organization (playbook or MEDDICC sales org), not just general commercial teams
- Track record through an efficiency inflection—you've helped leaders take cost out of an organization without breaking revenue
- Fluency in GTM metrics: ramp time, attainment distribution, revenue per head, regretted vs. non-regretted attrition, cost of sale. You can read, interrogate, and act on these numbers
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex performance and ER situations at volume and pace, with judgment that holds up under scrutiny
- Comfort with difficult but necessary conversations, balanced with strong relationship management
- High organization and attention to detail; understanding that sustainable impact comes from strong fundamentals
- Active use of AI in your own workflow; ability to demonstrate what you've changed in the last six months
NOT A FIT IF
- You have not partnered for a target-carrying sales organization
- You've worked primarily in large organizations with Centers of Excellence doing the heavy lifting; this is a small team where you'll build as much as you run
