Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 / annual

Swift Navigation is seeking a Senior People Operations Manager to serve as the company's sole HR professional, managing all people operations for a global team across 12 countries. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that requires owning the full HR lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding through offboarding—while ensuring compliance, data integrity, and a positive employee experience across multiple jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers globally, handling all HR matters across 12 countries - Own end-to-end onboarding processes, including offer paperwork, pre-boarding, orientation, and 30/60/90-day check-ins in partnership with hiring managers, IT, and Finance - Advise on employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and resolve concerns fairly and confidentially in line with local employment law - Run the annual performance management cycle, including reviews, calibration, performance improvement plans, and coaching managers on feedback - Partner with Finance and payroll providers to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing across all countries, including validating inputs and resolving discrepancies - Administer and maintain the HRIS (BambooHR) as the single source of truth for employee data; manage system updates, integrations, and produce reports for leadership - Manage PEO and Employer of Record (EOR) relationships, serving as primary contact for service issues, renewals, and compliance escalations - Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, vendor management, and periodic benchmarking to maintain competitive offerings - Manage offboarding, exit interviews, final pay coordination, and analyze exit trends to identify retention risks - Design and lead employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and virtual/in-person events for a distributed global team - Maintain employee handbook, country-specific policies, and HR processes; monitor employment law changes and ensure compliance - Support compensation reviews, promotions, and leave administration in partnership with leadership and Finance - Support ISO certification and surveillance audits, maintaining audit-ready training, competency, and onboarding records - Administer immigration and work authorization processes, including I-9/E-Verify compliance, US visa coordination (H-1B, TN, O-1, PERM), and international work permits Requirements: - 6+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years as an HR generalist or manager, ideally as a solo or small-team HR lead - Experience supporting a distributed, multi-country workforce, including working with PEOs and/or EORs - Strong working knowledge of US employment law and familiarity with employment practices in Europe and APAC; ability to research local requirements quickly - Hands-on experience administering an HRIS (BambooHR preferred) and supporting multi-country payroll - Sound judgment in handling sensitive employee relations matters with discretion, empathy, and objectivity - Self-directed and highly organized; able to prioritize competing demands and deliver independently - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build trust across cultures and time zones - Proficiency with data tools (Google Sheets, Excel) for record-keeping, trend analysis, and reporting - Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours to support colleagues in other time zones - Experience supporting ISO certification and surveillance audits (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001), including maintaining audit-ready documentation and people-related controls - Experience administering immigration and work authorization processes, including Form I-9/E-Verify, US visa coordination, and international work permits - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification and technology company experience are a plus
