As a Senior People Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic advisor and advocate for both the business and employees, partnering with Financial Services and Borrow/Operations Engineering leadership to drive influence and solve complex organizational challenges with scalable, high-impact solutions. You will partner with leaders to advise and influence the creation of measurable, actionable strategic plans, acting as an objective resource and champion for the Engineering team and broader employee population. You'll manage complex employee relations with discretion, providing executive coaching and facilitating constructive feedback loops. Leveraging deep HR expertise, you will lead initiatives in organizational design, compensation, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and employee development. You will drive data-informed decision-making using people analytics and organizational health metrics, executing strong judgment and discretion to ensure positive, professional outcomes. You'll champion company culture by embodying and promoting "The SoFi Way" and cultivate robust, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization. Collaboration with People Team Centers of Excellence will be essential to executing strategic initiatives and supporting business goals. Required qualifications include 6+ years as an HR Business Partner with specific knowledge in organizational design and development, compensation, performance management, employee engagement, employment law, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, training and employee development, immigration, and systems and tools. You need a BA/BS degree in HR, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated success influencing and leading at all levels of a corporate hierarchy is essential, along with expertise in building rapport and tailoring communication to diverse audiences while navigating sensitive situations. You should have sharp business acumen with the ability to identify risks and opportunities, proficiency in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity and HR deliverables, and proven experience as a leadership coach. Superior problem-solving skills with a focus on creating scalable organizational processes, exceptional agility, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are critical. Strong verbal and written communication skills and a high level of accountability with a consistent track record of delivering measurable results are required. Nice-to-have qualifications include prior experience in the technology or financial services sectors, experience supporting Engineering or Product management organizations, PHR, SPHR, or SHRM certifications, and hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
