Salary: USD 140,000 - 165,000 / annual
Maven Clinic, the world's largest virtual clinic for women and families, is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to support organizational effectiveness through strategic people partnership and talent program delivery. This role partners closely with managers and leaders across the organization to drive team engagement, performance management, and employee relations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with the HRBP team, managers, and functional leaders to support employee engagement, team performance, and organizational effectiveness
- Advise managers on employee relations, performance management, development conversations, and team dynamics
- Manage employee relations issues and investigations for assigned teams
- Execute core people programs including performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement survey action plans, and talent planning processes
- Analyze people trends and employee feedback to identify insights and drive engagement and retention strategies
- Partner cross-functionally with Recruiting, People Operations, Legal, and Finance to support consistent employee processes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to scaling people practices
- Leverage AI tooling to automate manual workflows and increase strategic impact
- Build trusted relationships with employees and managers through responsive, thoughtful partnership
- Contribute to broader People Team initiatives and cross-functional projects
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in HR Business Partner, People Operations, Talent Management, or related HR roles
- Experience partnering with managers and cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail with organizational rigor around data management and documentation
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in ambiguity
- Working knowledge of performance management, employee relations, and talent processes
- Analytical mindset with comfort using people data and insights
- Strong judgment, empathy, and ability to build trust across all organizational levels
Preferred qualifications include healthcare or healthcare technology experience and experience supporting front-line workforces, though not required. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and comfortable navigating ambiguity while solving problems thoughtfully.
