You will serve as a strategic and hands-on Senior People Business Partner supporting Engineering, Product, and Design teams. This role requires building strong relationships with leaders to solve people and organizational challenges, strengthen manager effectiveness, and drive data-informed decisions across the employee lifecycle. Key responsibilities include: - Partner with leaders on organizational design, talent planning, team effectiveness, and workforce decisions - Coach managers on performance management, feedback, career development, and day-to-day management practices - Support compensation and equity planning, including reviews, allocation decisions, and standardization - Analyze people data and business context to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in retention, performance, engagement, and talent - Develop and support retention strategies for critical talent and teams - Proactively surface organizational risks and opportunities to leadership - Collaborate across People, Finance, Legal, Talent, and business teams - Build scalable processes that improve consistency, decision-making, and manager effectiveness - Maintain strong judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all people-related matters This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Mountain View HQ. You will help shape people strategy, support organizational growth, and deliver thoughtful solutions that enhance employee experience and drive business outcomes. REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a similar People Business Partner role - Experience supporting senior leaders in high-growth, fast-paced, or mid-size startup environments - Proficiency with HR tools, automation, and AI; ability to build self-service resources and automate repeatable work - Exceptional organizational and project planning skills with ability to manage details, create structure, align stakeholders, and drive completion - Experience supporting and standardizing compensation, equity, performance, retention, talent management, and employee relations - Strong manager coaching skills and ability to raise management standards - Business acumen and data-driven decision-making capability - Track record of owning ambiguous problems through resolution - Ability to operate independently, move quickly, and work across functions - Strong communication, judgment, and influencing skills across organizational levels - Comfort moving between strategy, execution, and day-to-day problem solving
