Addepar is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to join its Global People Team based in the Pune capability center. This is a strategic, commercial HR role—not administrative. You will serve as a key partner to local leadership across R&D, Go-To-Market, and G&A functions, acting as the regional linchpin who bridges global strategy with local execution and actively dismantles functional silos.
Reporting directly to the Regional Director of People Partners for APAC, you will be a trusted advisor to technical and commercial leaders, an expert in India employee relations, and a primary driver of scalable people programs. Your responsibilities include:
• Commercial Talent Strategy: Align performance management, compensation reviews, and organizational design directly with business ROI and regional scale.
• Elevating Executive Maturity: Coach the local manager and director cohort to build executive presence, commercial awareness, and autonomous decision-making.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Break down silos between R&D, GTM, and G&A to ensure seamless collaboration under the "One Addepar" philosophy.
• Employee Relations & Compliance: Manage end-to-end ER including grievances, disciplinaries, and investigations while ensuring strict compliance with India labor laws.
• Driving Scalable Excellence: Use data to identify operational drag and implement process-driven solutions that reduce reliance on individual heroes.
• Program Implementation: Translate global people initiatives for the APAC region with high cultural adoption.
You bring 8+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience, ideally in high-growth, globally matrixed B2B SaaS, FinTech, or WealthTech companies. You understand how software businesses make money and can connect talent initiatives to ARR, product delivery, and GTM execution. You possess deep, current expertise in India employment law and compliance with a flawless track record handling sensitive ER issues. You have executive backbone—comfortable being the senior people presence in the room, respectfully pushing back on senior leaders, and influencing without authority. You operate with impeccable discretion and integrity, building trust with both local employees and global executives. You thrive in scaling environments with ambiguity and incomplete playbooks.
