Numeral is an AI-native tax compliance platform founded in 2023 that helps digital businesses navigate complex multi-state and multi-country tax regulations. The company has raised $57M from top-tier investors (Benchmark, Mayfield, Y Combinator) and serves over 3,000 paying customers with tripling annual revenue growth.
As Senior Partner Manager, Accounting, you will own and grow Numeral's relationships with the largest and most strategic accounting firm and CPA firm partners. This is a strategic, high-impact role focused on building partnerships from the ground up rather than managing transactional referral relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying, pitching, and structuring new strategic partnerships with target accounting and CPA firms
- Serving as the senior trusted point of contact for each major partner relationship
- Creating and executing joint partnership plans that drive mutual growth across referrals, co-marketing, enablement, and strategic initiatives
- Engaging partner leadership (Partners, Practice Leaders, senior stakeholders) to deepen strategic alignment and executive sponsorship
- Designing and running enablement programs (trainings, certifications) so partner teams can confidently identify and refer tax and VAT exposure opportunities
- Driving co-branded campaigns, events, and product integrations with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams
- Defining partner success metrics and reporting on partnership health in quarterly business reviews
- Contributing to overall channel strategy and execution
- Tracking and analyzing partner performance against KPIs
You'll need 8+ years in partner or alliance management with direct experience in the accounting or CPA industry. You should have a proven track record of owning and growing large, strategic partner relationships (not just transactional referral books). Experience creating partnerships from scratch—identifying targets, building pitches, structuring and negotiating deals—is essential. You'll need strong executive presence to engage senior leadership at accounting firms, excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution capability. An existing network within accounting and advisory firm leadership is valuable. Willingness to travel for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events is required.
Bonus qualifications include prior experience working inside an accounting or CPA firm (Big 4, regional, or advisory practice) or building a strategic partnerships function from the ground up at an early- or growth-stage SaaS or fintech company.
