As Senior Motion Designer, you will own the full motion design function at Fieldguide, creating animations, product explainers, and campaign content that bring the product and brand to life. You'll translate dense technical and strategic concepts into compelling visual stories that resonate with audit practitioners and broader audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and animating motion graphics for brand videos, product explainers, campaign content, and event deliverables
- Building and evolving Fieldguide's motion design system, including transitions, animated iconography, and animation principles
- Creating UI animations, data visualizations, conceptual sequences, and typography-driven storytelling
- Partnering directly with brand, product marketing, and design teams to scope projects from concept through final delivery
- Collaborating with video editors on hybrid pieces, layering motion graphics, titles, and effects
- Working closely with Product Designers in Figma to translate complex UI into marketing motion
You bring a strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, art direction, animation craft, and visual systems thinking. You have a proven track record of making technical ideas visually clear and compelling. You're fluent in motion design tools such as After Effects, Figma, Cinema 4D, Lottie, Rive, and code-adjacent motion workflows. You have strong typography skills and systems thinking—able to build a visual language once and reuse it consistently across many pieces. You're comfortable in Figma and collaborating directly with product teams. You're a team player with a unique aesthetic sensibility and passion for bringing concepts to life.
