You will own the strategy and architecture of Prenuvo's marketing technology stack, operating at both strategic and tactical levels. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant cross-functional influence over vendor spend, technical direction, and marketing priorities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting multi-year MarTech strategy and architecture, including build-vs-buy decisions and vendor relationships
- Defining roadmaps for marketing automation, CRM, CDP, analytics, attribution, experimentation, and personalization platforms
- Architecting data flows between marketing systems, product systems, CRM, and data warehouse; establishing standards for other teams
- Establishing governance for tracking, campaign setup, lifecycle management, and data quality across the organization
- Partnering with Marketing, Growth, Data, Product, and Engineering leadership (Director/VP level) to translate business strategy into scalable technical solutions
- Leading automation initiatives that reduce manual campaign operations
- Owning technical foundations for segmentation, lifecycle marketing, personalization, and reporting
- Managing vendor evaluation, selection, contract negotiation, implementation, and adoption
- Building documentation, governance frameworks, and processes for a scalable, auditable MarTech ecosystem
- Monitoring system performance, data quality, and operational risk; resolving complex issues
- Providing technical direction and mentorship to marketing ops and MarTech staff
You bring 8-12 years of marketing technology, marketing operations, or growth operations experience with a track record of owning strategy. You have demonstrated ability to set technical direction and influence Director/VP-level decisions. Deep expertise across CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot), marketing automation (Braze/Iterable), CDPs (Segment), analytics (GA4), data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and integration tools (Zapier, Workato) is essential. Strong SQL and API fluency, cross-functional project management, vendor management, and executive communication skills are required. You're comfortable setting direction in ambiguity.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience building or modernizing MarTech stacks at multiple companies, background in healthcare or regulated environments, expertise in experimentation/attribution/lifecycle marketing, and knowledge of privacy and data governance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
