Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Marketing Systems and Automation Manager to own and evolve the marketing operations engine that powers the company's demand generation. This role sits at the intersection of operations, systems architecture, and automation, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Digital Marketing.
You will be responsible for running the day-to-day marketing operations that keep demand generation moving: intake queues, campaign operations, lead flow, and provisioning. You'll lead a distributed contractor bench spanning architecture, development, and execution, setting priorities and quality standards while maintaining operational rigor during a transition to automation.
A core responsibility is establishing governance and systems standards across the global marketing stack. You'll own data governance, taxonomy, naming conventions, and integration patterns; define and maintain lead scoring, lifecycle, and attribution models as documented, version-controlled sources of truth; and establish change controls for logic updates with appropriate review processes.
The role centers on identifying and driving agentic automation using Cloudflare OS as the orchestration hub. You'll transform manual processes—intake, provisioning, data hygiene, consent management, and reporting—into automated, governed workflows. You'll balance the need for global consistency with regional and specialist flexibility, ensuring one standard way of working that teams can trust and adapt without breaking the model.
You'll be the senior counterpart to BizApps, IT, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams, serving as the single point of accountability for how marketing's systems are run, integrated, automated, and governed. The ideal candidate respects the operational reality of today while being energized to design the automation that replaces manual work, combining deep operational understanding with systems thinking.
