Salary: USD 85,000 - 161,500 / annual

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives and new product integration projects at their Maple Grove, Minnesota facility. This role provides daily support to the production floor, ensuring that products, processes, materials, and equipment meet Safety, Quality, Service, and Cost objectives. You will lead cross-functional project teams across Production, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Process Development, and Supply Chain to evaluate, troubleshoot, and implement manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing project goals and progress, supporting technicians during complex troubleshooting on the production floor, identifying and proposing process and product improvements using continuous improvement tools, and assessing the feasibility of new technologies and equipment. You will design and coordinate engineering tests and experiments, analyze complex test results, prepare engineering reports for technical and leadership audiences, and work with vendors and suppliers on technical design and procurement. Additional duties include managing Capital Equipment Request Authorizations (CERAs), training team members including engineers and technicians, and developing junior staff through mentorship and guidance. The role requires a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality, with full compliance to quality policies and documented procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position with no visa sponsorship available. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Biomedical preferred) and 5+ years of engineering experience with proven ability to solve advanced technical problems, manage and lead projects, and apply engineering principles, data analysis, and production flow tools such as LEAN manufacturing. Preferred qualifications include manufacturing environment experience, new product integration experience, medical device or regulated industry background, equipment troubleshooting and repair expertise, validation and qualification experience, test method and process validation knowledge, and strong understanding of quality systems.
