As Senior Manager, Workplace, you will lead Strava's global workplace operations and employee experience across 9+ office locations worldwide. Reporting to the Director of People Ops and Workplace, you'll manage a team of workplace professionals (currently 3 FTE + 1 contractor) distributed across multiple US offices and oversee the global workplace budget and real estate contracts. Key responsibilities include: - Owning and evolving Strava's global Workplace playbook, standardizing processes, security protocols, and visitor policies across all office locations - Managing and coaching a distributed team of workplace professionals, providing clear delegation and support - Owning the annual global employee experience workplace budget, including landlord relationships and vendor negotiations - Partnering with People leadership, IT/Security, and Legal to ensure consistent security and compliance practices - Leading day-to-day workplace operations for the San Francisco office (7 floors), including onsite events, space planning, and workplace systems - Collaborating with workplace coordinators in each office to implement best practices and maintain global consistency - Building scalable systems and processes to support continued global office expansion This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close partnership with People leadership, IT/Security, Executive Business Partners, and regional office leaders. You'll stay hands-on with SF operations while driving standardization and scalability across the global footprint. The role is on-site in San Francisco, five days per week. REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years of experience in workplace, facilities, or real estate operations with progressive responsibility - Proven experience managing people, ideally leading distributed or remote teams - Experience owning workplace or facilities operations across multiple sites or offices - Experience managing a budget of meaningful scale ($10M+), including vendor and contract negotiation - Experience with international real estate or lease management (preferred) - Background scaling workplace operations at a fast-growing or expanding company (preferred) - Familiarity with workplace technology and systems such as badge access and space management platforms (preferred)
