Salesforce's Global Delivery Centre (GDC) is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Consulting to lead and grow the Communications (Comms) Cloud consulting practice. This is a hybrid people-leadership and hands-on technical role: you'll manage up to 35 technical consultants, architects, and managers while contributing 25% of your time as a senior technical architect on customer engagements.
Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and mentoring technical consultants in the Comms domain; architecting solutions using Salesforce's Comms Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud; leading enterprise-level customer engagements and serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite stakeholders; designing and delivering functional and technical workshops; managing project teams of developers; and driving internal initiatives to build the Comms consulting practice's knowledge base and methodology.
You'll work closely with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and clients to solve complex business challenges, establish architectural governance, manage customer expectations, and ensure high CSAT and business outcomes. The role requires strong application, data, integration, and security architecture skills, with deep expertise in Salesforce platform technologies (Apex, Lightning, LWC, Flows) and telecom domain knowledge.
Minimum qualifications: 13+ years leading Salesforce technical consulting projects, 8+ years in people management and technical architecture, strong expertise in Comms/Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and Vlocity OmniStudio, telecom domain expertise, and mandatory skills in integration architecture, platform security, identity/access management, data architecture, and Apex design patterns. Proficiency in English required. Preferred: Salesforce certifications (Admin, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud, Application Architect) and OmniStudio Developer/Consultant experience.
