Aledade seeks a Senior Manager of Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting to lead financial reporting and accounting operations as the company prepares for public-company demands. This role combines hands-on technical accounting expertise with operational leadership of the general ledger and month-end close process.
Key responsibilities include:
**Technical Accounting & SEC Reporting:** Monitor FASB, SEC, and other authoritative bodies for new pronouncements impacting Aledade's accounting policies and disclosures. Research and document thorough US GAAP analyses for complex areas including revenue recognition, share-based compensation, and non-routine accounting treatments. Prepare and review lender-related communication and reporting packages, including covenant-compliance reporting under credit agreements.
**General Ledger & Month-End Close:** Own and continuously improve core close activities including accrual reviews, internal-use software capitalization, and balance sheet reconciliations. Drive automation and acceleration of the close process to build a faster, better-controlled, and more scalable financial-statement close function.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with internal departments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results. Prepare US GAAP financials with anticipated Form 10-K/10-Q reporting responsibilities.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting knowledge, SEC reporting experience, and a track record of improving close processes and financial controls. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic accounting leadership with operational execution. The company offers flexibility to work remotely within the US or from the Bethesda, MD office.
