Salary: USD 165,000 - 200,000 / annual

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building energy-efficient solutions to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. The company owns and operates each layer of the stack—from electrons to tokens—to address the critical bottleneck of power in AI compute. As Senior Manager, Tax, you will lead tax structuring, compliance, and financial modeling for Crusoe's growing pipeline of data center projects. You'll serve as the primary subject matter expert on partnerships and tax equity structures, working at the intersection of finance, legal, real estate development, and external advisory teams. Key responsibilities include: - Leading tax structuring and execution of complex tax equity investments, joint ventures, and project financing partnerships - Directing and reviewing financial models for project partnerships, analyzing tax allocations, capital accounts, outside basis, and cash/tax waterfalls - Analyzing technical tax issues including Investment Tax Credits (ITC), depreciation schedules (MACRS), and Section 754 adjustments - Monitoring federal and state tax law changes affecting renewable energy and partnership taxation - Coordinating with external tax advisory firms on tax return preparation, Schedule K-1s, partnership tax allocations, and audit defenses - Serving as the key bridge between Real Estate Development, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams You'll report to the Senior Director, Tax and work with a high-performing team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services. The role requires deep expertise in partnership taxation and ideally experience with Investment Tax Credits or energy credits.
