Aviso, a leading Canadian wealth management organization, is seeking a Senior Manager of Talent Management to join its People & Culture team. Reporting to the Director of Talent Management, this role is responsible for developing strategic business partnerships and providing consultation on leadership development and talent management initiatives. The focus is on creating a comprehensive employee development experience from onboarding through career progression.
Key responsibilities include acting as an in-house consultant to HR Business Partners and management on talent identification, succession planning, competency development, and leadership assessment. You will develop and deliver an enterprise-wide values and behaviors leadership model, translating business strategy into leadership requirements. The role involves determining talent assessment metrics, integrating talent programs into Workday, and refining succession planning processes to ensure continuous improvement in leadership effectiveness.
You will work closely with HR Business Partners to identify development requirements and design targeted programs, including personality assessments, 360-degree evaluations, and transitional coaching. The position requires analyzing enterprise talent data and developing materials for senior leadership and board-level talent discussions, leveraging Workday and People Analytics to identify internal talent mobility opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include building career paths that enable employee growth, designing and implementing enterprise leadership development programs, and managing special projects related to talent acceleration. You will lead the design of experiences for high-potential talent pools and orchestrate cross-divisional internal movement in partnership with business leaders.
Required qualifications include 5+ years in talent management or organizational development, 7-10 years of progressive HR experience (preferably in financial services), and a post-secondary degree (Bachelor's in Business, HR, or CHRP preferred). Key competencies include impactful communications, teamwork, critical thinking, innovation, and agility.
