Salary: USD 100,000 - 170,000 / annual
Vetcove is modernizing the $50B+ animal health industry with a suite of platforms including a procurement marketplace, ecommerce platform, and practice management system serving 25,000+ veterinary hospitals across all 50 states. The company is backed by Y Combinator and top-tier venture investors.
You will own Vetcove's most important in-person experiences end-to-end, from multi-day leadership summits with top customers and industry leaders to the annual company retreat and team offsites. This is a highly autonomous role requiring exceptional taste, operational rigor, and hospitality instincts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning major events from conception through execution, including flagship customer gatherings, executive summits, annual company retreats, and team offsites ranging from intimate groups to 200+ person events
- Developing comprehensive event plans covering venues, programming, hospitality, travel, production, staffing, budgets, and logistics
- Sourcing and negotiating with exceptional hotels, venues, restaurants, speakers, and partners to deliver best-in-class experiences within budget
- Serving as the clear owner across internal teams and external partners, driving decisions and timelines with minimal oversight
- Anticipating and solving logistical challenges and operational details proactively
You bring 7+ years of experience owning complex, high-touch events from start to finish (corporate events, executive gatherings, customer conferences, retreats, or similar ambitious live experiences). You obsess over details, have independently led multi-day events managing hundreds of decisions and vendors simultaneously, and genuinely enjoy sourcing and negotiating. You possess exceptional hospitality instincts, strong taste, and resourcefulness under pressure. You're calm when plans change and can make decisive decisions quickly.
