Salary: USD 201,365 - 236,900 / annual
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Manager of Recruiting to lead a team within the Core Recruiting function in People Success. This role manages recruiters supporting Customer Experience, Security, Enterprise Systems & Technology Operations (ESTO), and People Success—teams that are actively scaling and critical to Coinbase's operations.
You will lead and develop a team of core recruiters, setting clear performance expectations around pipeline quality and hiring outcomes. You'll partner directly with senior leadership across your portfolio on workforce planning and hiring strategy, ensuring alignment between business needs and talent acquisition efforts.
Key responsibilities include owning recruiting operations for your portfolio, managing team structure and capacity as business priorities shift, and driving hiring process improvements through data analysis. You'll identify pipeline bottlenecks and implement changes that improve both speed and quality of hire. Building a high-performance team culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement is central to the role.
Required experience includes 10+ years in full-cycle recruiting (talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, closing) with at least 3+ years leading and developing recruiting teams. You should have a demonstrated track record of partnering with senior leadership on hiring strategy and workforce planning, and experience building, coaching, and scaling high-performing recruiting teams in fast-paced technology environments. A data-driven approach to pipeline management is essential, with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations for leadership. The role also values responsible use of generative AI while maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
