As Senior Manager of Technical Recruiting, you will lead recruiting across EMEA, guiding a high-performing team to attract exceptional engineering talent and scale internationally. You'll strengthen Affirm's global hiring strategy and enable teams advancing the company's mission.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters with clear expectations, thoughtful feedback, and inclusive team culture
- Own the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning regional hiring plans with business priorities and building capabilities for international growth
- Partner with technical and cross-functional leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable strategies across teams and geographies
- Influence director and VP-level stakeholders through recruiting data, market insights, and strategic guidance
- Use recruiting analytics to identify trends, improve funnel performance, forecast hiring risks, and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, Compensation, and other People teams for seamless hiring experience
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through transparent communication and proactive talent advice
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve recruiting processes
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years leading full-cycle technical recruiting with track record of hiring for engineering and technical roles at scale
- 5+ years leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams
- Deep knowledge of EMEA talent market; experience hiring in UK, Poland, and Spain preferred
- Experience developing and executing hiring strategies in new or emerging markets
- Strong executive presence with ability to influence and advise senior leaders
- Strong analytical skills using recruiting data and market insights
- Proven ability to lead recruiting teams through organizational growth while maintaining performance
