Salary: USD 122,212 - 160,404 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management to join the Network Operations team in Tempe, Arizona. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in-office (with Thursdays mandatory), reporting to the Director of Process Improvement.
The Senior Manager will drive end-to-end operational excellence by managing and overseeing significant projects and strategic initiatives across the organization. Key responsibilities include leading cross-functional work groups to optimize program processes, developing and presenting executive reporting materials to senior leadership, driving program standardization and operationalization, conducting root cause analysis on issues, and identifying risks and improvement opportunities for new programs.
This role requires deep subject matter expertise in healthcare operations, with a focus on reducing operational, financial, compliance, and regulatory risks while ensuring efficient, repeatable processes. The manager will coordinate multiple large work groups, maintain critical program documentation, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or 4+ years equivalent experience), 6+ years of program and project management in healthcare, 6+ years of change management and process improvement experience, and 6+ years solving health plan operational problems. Bonus qualifications include experience in rapidly scaling organizations, an MBA or healthcare-related master's degree, and proficiency with Google Suite.
