Salary: USD 122,212 - 160,404 / annual
Oscar Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Management to join the Network Operations team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving end-to-end operational excellence by managing, maintaining, and overseeing significant projects and strategic initiatives across the company.
The Senior Manager will leverage subject matter expertise and a cross-functional lens to lead and coordinate multiple large work groups, ensuring efficient, repeatable processes that reduce operational, financial, compliance, and regulatory risks. Core responsibilities include leading efforts in program standardization, operationalization, and issue resolution (including root cause analysis), developing and presenting executive reporting materials to senior leadership, identifying risks and improvement opportunities for new programs, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end operational excellence by measuring, monitoring, and executing to reduce operational, financial, compliance, and regulatory risks
- Manage large, multiple cross-functional work groups supporting end-to-end program processes
- Lead, oversee, and coordinate various projects, products, and strategic initiatives
- Develop targeted program standardization, operationalization, and issue resolution efforts
- Create and maintain executive reporting materials for senior leadership
- Develop subject matter expertise in methodologies and operations required for program execution
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities for new program development and implementation
- Organize and catalog meeting notes, action items, decisions, and follow-ups
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or 4+ years commensurate experience; 6+ years program and project management in healthcare; 6+ years change management and process improvement experience; 6+ years solving health plan operational problems.
Bonus qualifications include experience in rapidly scaling organizations, MBA or healthcare-related advanced degree, and proficiency with Google Suite.
