Snowflake is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Delivery to lead regional delivery operations across Europe. This role bridges frontline execution and regional strategy, requiring leadership of multiple technical teams through subordinate managers and oversight of complex enterprise modernization workstreams.
Key responsibilities include establishing Quality Assurance frameworks for regional delivery teams, directly overseeing concurrent legacy-to-Snowflake migration projects, and negotiating high-stakes Statements of Work with enterprise customers. You will advise C-suite stakeholders on technical debt minimization, risk mitigation, and modernization ROI. The role demands strong operational leadership—establishing regional objectives, delegating to lower managers, and maintaining accountability for long-term work plans and budgets.
Financial ownership includes regional delivery revenue targets, quarterly forecast accuracy, and strict budget adherence. You will also own the full talent lifecycle for the region, scaling teams and mentoring technical leaders in alignment with business plans.
Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in technical delivery, post-sales architecture, or management consulting, with a minimum 5 years managing multiple technical teams through subordinate managers. Deep knowledge of cloud migrations and legacy database technologies (Teradata, Netezza, Exadata) is essential. Outstanding executive communication, client management, and the ability to influence thinking in sensitive situations are critical. You should have a proven track record hitting regional delivery revenue, forecast accuracy, budget, and talent retention targets, with demonstrated readiness to participate in establishing global delivery objectives and strategic goals.
