CaptivateIQ is seeking a Senior Manager of Product Design to lead the design function for its Product Platform—the foundational capabilities that power multiple products across the company. In this player-coach role, you will manage a team of product designers while remaining deeply involved in high-leverage design work. Your responsibilities include establishing a cohesive, trustworthy system experience across platform capabilities, driving design decisions that span multiple products and teams, and setting quality standards for the organization.
You'll work closely with the Head of Design, Product leadership, and Engineering to shape the strategic direction and evolution of CaptivateIQ's platform architecture. This role demands strong systems thinking, design judgment, and the ability to influence decisions across organizational boundaries. You'll balance team leadership with hands-on design contribution, personally tackling critical problems while mentoring your team and building design excellence into the platform's DNA.
The ideal candidate brings experience managing design teams at growth-stage companies, deep expertise in platform design and design systems, and a track record of driving cross-functional alignment on complex technical and user experience decisions.
