You'll lead two interconnected design areas: Admin and Platform Design System. Admin is the configuration and governance layer where firm leaders and innovation teams turn their Harvey investment into measurable ROI—managing workflow configuration, usage visibility, and knowledge platform integration. This is where legal connectors integrate into Harvey, enabling the platform to access a firm's precedents, matter files, and integrated systems. Platform is Harvey's design system spine, defining how the entire organization works in an AI-native way and setting the craft standard every product team builds upon.
As Senior Manager, you'll own Admin as a complete product, driving strategy and execution in partnership with Product and Engineering. You'll work directly with customers, research, and usage data to identify friction points and design solutions that accelerate rollout, adoption, and demonstrated ROI. You'll define Harvey's design system not as a service but as a set of product decisions—encoding what good looks like for AI-powered legal work as patterns teams inherit. You'll set the craft bar across interaction design, systems thinking, content, and visual execution while building governance that enables speed without fragmentation.
You'll also own AI tooling strategy for the design organization: deciding which tools to adopt, what to build internally, and establishing the new default workflow from problem to prototype. You'll raise both the floor and ceiling—making the whole team faster while enabling individual designers to ship work that previously required pods.
You'll build and lead a team of high-craft individual contributors across systems, product, and prototyping, owning org design, resourcing, and prioritization across four surfaces with different rhythms. You'll partner with design, product, and engineering leaders to evolve how Harvey builds, represent Platform in high-stakes conversations with executives and customers, and establish decision-making frameworks for high-trust, high-stakes environments where clarity and accuracy are non-negotiable. You'll be a foundational member of the Design leadership team reporting to the VP Design, with portfolio-wide impact on how the product, team, and culture scale.
