Rubrik is seeking a Senior Manager, People Partner to lead its global People Partnering team at the intersection of business strategy and employee experience. You will manage approximately 8 People Partners, establishing a high-performing culture rooted in psychological safety, career development, and team cohesion while serving as the ultimate escalation point for complex Employee Relations investigations and policy interpretations.
Key responsibilities include leading and developing a global team of People Partners, acting as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders on organizational health and change management, and owning end-to-end people partnering strategy for large business units (GTM, G&A, Engineering, Product). You will partner proactively with Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Development) to design and deliver unified initiatives rather than executing downstream handoffs.
You will institutionalize a scaling mindset by designing robust process documentation, playbooks, and standardized frameworks to replace transactional resolution. The role includes identifying and operationalizing AI-enabled tools and workflows to modernize HR delivery, overseeing annual cross-functional people programs (performance enablement, talent reviews, compensation calibration, succession planning) across global matrixed business units, and proactively mitigating HR compliance and legal risks across multiple geographies.
Required qualifications: 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3+ years directly managing and developing a global team of People Partners or HRBPs. Deep expertise as an Employee Relations Subject Matter Expert with proven track record handling complex compliance, investigations, and multi-geographical labor law scenarios. Demonstrated experience in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments with strong program management capabilities and proven ability to drive outcomes and cross-functional stakeholder alignment in global, matrixed, virtual organizations.
Preferred: experience scaling a people partnering function through standardization and playbooking, direct experience leading AI-driven workflow transitions with specific implementation of AI tools for career pathing or ER analytics, and familiarity with enterprise HRIS environments like Workday.
